Nope, it's fine!!!!!!!
Hey, guess what!
So, I was at a thrift store today, and saw a hideous painting on a canvas for sale, and I thought immediately of your piece here, that you "restored". I had never thought of buying and painting over something until I saw your artwork here! I think that's brilliant!! I thought very hard about buying the canvas/painting today, but decided against it at the last minute due to a funds issue, but I was going to buy it and "restore" it myself with something much more beautiful than the random, hideous squirts of paint that covered it. You were an inspiration to me! :)

I love doing paint over, cause the texture of the painting under the fresh paint give it a cool effect. Many of my paintings have 1 or 2 paintings under them...man I am so cheap.

OBVIOUSLY..research the piece so you arn't painting over something worth a MINT. LOL!

LOL! Oh, no, this type of painting was like a 6th grader just squirting paint tubes around on a canvas, and maybe mixing some colors together and smearing it around. It was pretty sloppy. :XD: Hence why it was at the thrift store perhaps.
You may call painting-over cheap, but I call it brilliant!!!! :D

It's a really good piece, I enjoyed it...

I had set out to do three more paintings before I start the three week contract, and I'm stuck on painting #1... ha ha ha... but, I shouldn't be surprised... it's my first sellable piece that I've done since the stroke a few years ago... it looks pretty good so far, but nothing like my old art work... I think that's why it's taking so long. #2 shouldn't take any more than a couple of days (probably this weekend), and #3 I'm not sure about yet... it's a little more involved. I've got three more to do after that, but I probably won't get to them until after the holiday...

Well, I kinda need to... I've got two unfinished paintings, and almost out of paints, and need more canvas... lol. Besides, I have to deal with Christmas shopping before rent...
I'm still looking around for another job, but, I'm hoping that something local comes up soon...

If I could cover my bills, and still be able to do my pieces, I wouldn't even bother looking around for anything else for awhile...
