hippo afternoon

i started this like a year ago..i was sooo inspired when i went to the san diego zoo and saw their hippo enclosure. you can see them under water..and i had no idea how graceful they are! rearing and jumping around under the green poo water- it was still a beautiful sight! sooo here is my hippo series. done in arylic on art board.
