This is a huge painting i FINALLY finished, I actually was gonna gesso over it and start over but i persisted- and i am actually glad i did. The colors on this are awesome! It now hangs over my bed..cause it is such a romantic piece!! LOL!!

It is 2.5 feet x 3 feet (ish) acrylic on canvas. I haven't made up my mind yet to put it up for sale- i think i am tooooo in love with it. Which means all of you will hate it- it's just a weird thing i have with my art- i never like what everyone raves about and the few pieces i love are usually looked over in my gallery both on line and in real life!! Any of you have that wierdness too???

Haha! This painting is awesome! I love how the croc has such a serene look - and of course the colors are fantastic! This is totally different from how I would do it and I feel humbled. Great job!

Oh, yes, and that always happens. My favorite pieces get ignored. :cries:

it came out totally different then how i would have done it to- i felt like i was just along for the ride with this painting. it evolved!
I love how crocs always look so ' it's just business ma'am' as the drown some poor critter. I tried to get that expression! I am sooo glad you like it.

Wow, beautiful work! I just love the lighting under the water. Gorgeous colors. The crocodile's scales are all kinds of wonderful too. :D

And YES! Seems like nine times out of ten the stuff I come really close to not posting is the most popular on DA. Go figure. xD
Wow! I love it! The colours and structures are just great! I can understand you loving it too much to give away.

By the way: I know the feeling you describe quite well. ;-)

Hehehe, 'croc-o-scales.' I'm going to remember that one...x3
Oh wow, I love the colors on the crocs body. And you did a nice job on the water. Its hard to think that this got ignored by the masses.
I was just gonna write you and tell you this is what the other pic (croc and zebra) morphed into. I am still so in love with this pic, screw the masses.
